Men & Women in Uniform
Men and women in uniform are making the ultimate sacrifice by putting their lives on the line each and every day they put their uniform on and serve citizens like you and me. We need them to help protect us physically as well as protect our nation and what it stands for in terms of liberty. We must support the military men and women who protect our nation. That means giving them the tools and equipment they need, as well as the benefits and moral support they have earned. I support tax benefits to help ease the financial burdens our citizen-warriors and their families face and update and improve GI Bill education benefits. And we must also support our first responders who put their lives on the line to protect us in our homes, businesses, and communities. I will support any legislation which gives law enforcement officers the tools and resources they need to keep us safe.
